The Tooth Fairy Box Returns Policy
It is very difficult to generate a meaningful returns/refunds policy for a website that sells hand crafted and personalised products.
I could recreate the usual pages that appear on most online shops and are never read, but I honestly don’t think that would be useful.
Here is my ‘no legal jargon’ returns policy.
My goal is to produce a box that will not only bring some magic into a child’s life now, but will also still be looking just as good in many generations to come. There is, therefore, no time limit on when any issues can be brought to my attention for remedy. It is a Tooth Fairy Box for life.
Wood is a natural material that will often contain imperfections. Sometimes these imperfections add character to a piece and are purposefully left in. Any character accents will be clearly visible on all boxes in the website shop.
All wood is affected by temperature and humidity and will continue to ‘move’ with the seasons for the rest of its life. During the manufacturing process I take every precaution to dry and stabilise the wood before making the boxes so that any such movement will not be perceptible to the human eye and certainly not interfere with the functioning of the box. Should any such movement interfere with the fitting of the lid, I will be happy to repair, remake or refund the box.
Should any natural cracks appear that affect the structural integrity or aesthetics of the box, then that is certainly a major defect and I will repair/refund/replace as per the customer's wishes. Likewise, if I am at fault in mis-spelling someone’s name, then I will, of course, repair, remake or refund the item.
Any damage caused by misuse is excluded.
